I managed to stumble over the headset cable, result was, I ripped all wires from the "in-cable volume control"...
Wait for creative labs support to get to know which of these tiny little wires belongs to what point, need to bruze it ...
dang...

Hehehe I would do but headset's quality at all is too good and it wasn't the very cheapest, so I don't like the idea to throw it away just because of these wires.....
Will see, latest at weekend I'll have the time and leisure to try a repair. If I fail I'll buy a new one.

you can buy faulty on ebay or ask somebody who have to sell .. or try find manual... or instructions...
write me exactly:
model and manufactured.. I have holiday so I can try find for you.. maybe I will have luck

aaaaaah I gave up.
just found out that even more is broken, there were the cable splits up one is stripped out partly, that point is sealed in plastics ... I'm fed up.
I'll save some money and buy a new one some day.
