I just thought, what if we allow votes for Crazy Thursday also for registered forum visitors?
Many people come regulary to the Socrates server, perhaps we can announce in server messages that registered forum users can vote on game mode, too? Just to let the players participate, even if they are no Clan members.

Hmm.. I think that is the benefits if You are in clan... I understand Your idea Mad... but....
one second . = modifies Your idea
If people from clan will have two voices, and registered user only one voice - it will be justice and fine
or one week in month for registered users - 3 for clan members ?
In my opinion the answer is simple and clear: NO vote for public.
What Al said with that many voices... that i can have - messed up my tiny brain..Sorry..

I think attractiveness of server lies not only clean sweep mode, but local colour - people, their humor, culture and social attitude.
So, polling the mode is only fun for us. Not for guests at all.
I like the idea of "crazy thursday" - different than customary mode, but I hardly believe it has any importance for what mode exactly should it be for guest players.
Why don't choose for example few rotating modes base on our polling.
The most important is to clarify the change on repeteadly displayed server announcements.
e.g. CRAZY THURSDAY - DIFFERENT MODES AVAILABLE
or something like that
