If you don't mind I had a look at your signature and "corrected" it.
About the star ranking: right now it only depends on the number of posts and will increase automatically.
If you want to change something in text, for example you want to have bold text, just highlight it and then click the B above the editing window. Or highlight it and click into a color. The "tags" will automatically wrap around the highlighted content.
Other way would be to click B and write the text you want to have bold right inbetween.
