About mumble Overlay:

In mumble click Configure - Settings - Overlay
Make sure "Enable Overlay" is checked.
As I read in the current version this works only up to DX 10 applications, and only in 32bit applications.

MoH is 32bit but may run under DX11, then you won't see the overlay. Because of gaming performance I use DX9 for MoH (somewhere fixed in a .ini file for MoH)

About Audio Settings:

Some of us sound as Donald Duck sometimes, change something in mumble then and suddenly voice is clear. I never had to change anything after the setup wizard settings were made. So in case it is not about sound card or headset, here my audio settings. We might compare...

First the settings when using the wizard:
  • TAB Device Tuning: I was able to move the slider to the very left for 10ms.
    TAB Quality & Notifications: Quality is set to Balanced as recommended
