"Tracy's Tiger" - William Saroyan“You are not afraid of this animal,” he said again quickly, “this tiger. This is black panther.”
“Yes, I know,” Tracy said, “but it’s my tiger just the same.”
“You have this name tiger for this animal?”
“Yes, I know it’s a black panther,” Tracy said, “but I’ve always thought of it as a tiger.”
“Your tiger?”
“Yes.”
“You are not afraid of this tiger?”
“No.”
“Everybody is afraid of tiger.”
“Everybody is afraid of many things,” Tracy said.
